A free Trainerize alternative
seven is free for coaches at any roster size, and unlike Trainerize it brings you the members. Trainerize is free for one client, $9/month for two, and Pro from $23/month rising with your client count — a good product whose price goes up precisely as you succeed, and which has never once found you a client.

The Trainerize bill grows with you
Trainerize’s tiers are banded by client count: 5, 15, 30, 50, 75, 100, 200. Every band you cross because you did your job well, you pay more. That is a rational business model — it is just one where your growth is their revenue event, not yours.
The add-ons are the part coaches tend to underestimate. Advanced Nutrition is $20/month on smaller Pro plans and $45/month at 30+ clients. Video Coaching is $10/month. Taking payments through Stripe inside the app is another $10/month. A coach using all three is paying $65/month on top of the plan. The custom branded app is a $169 one-timefee — a real cost, but a one-off, and we’d rather state it correctly than inflate it.
What seven does differently
seven doesn’t sell you software. It sells memberships — and then sends those members to a small, hand-picked roster of coaches.
- —$0 for coaches, at every roster size. No plan, no bands, no client cap, no add-ons, no branded-app fee.
- —We bring the members. That is the entire premise. Trainerize hands you an empty app.
- —You keep 100% of the programs you sell — or 70% if we feature you to the whole member base. You set the price; no band, no cap.
- —Native coach app and member app included, and payments handled end to end — no Stripe setup, no invoicing.
We make money when members subscribe ($19/month or $199/year). Coaches never pay that and never share it. See the earnings math.
When ABC Trainerize is the better choice
The deepest integration ecosystem of any coaching app — wearables, MyFitnessPal, gym equipment — and a mature Studio tier if you run a facility with multiple trainers.
seven is the wrong tool if you want to buy software and be left alone. We are a curated platform — we hand-pick a small roster, we bring the members, and we have opinions about the coaching that happens on it. If that sounds like overhead rather than an offer, ABC Trainerize will serve you better, and we’d rather say so.
The catch, plainly
Trainerize will take anyone with a credit card. seven won’t — we feature 5–10 coaches, so that every one of them gets real member demand. Most applications will get a no.
And we are honest about our size: seven is in closed beta, with 3 founding coaches and roughly 15 members as of July 2026. Trainerize has hundreds of thousands of users and a decade of polish. If you need a mature, proven platform today, take it — and read exactly where we are before you decide.
